Please brethren,our opinion is useless when it comes to the word of God,we do not want to express opinions and even when expressing an opinion let it be expressed with the word,if its wrong those that know better will correct it with the word but we are here to seek and express the revelation of God and not our opinions please,on the discussion page,there is The Gospel discussion,we should read our bible,pray and seek God,this is about life,it is not a school exam we guess brethren,we are talking about an uncreated being called Jehovah,please brethren

gospel means evangelo according to the italians which means evangelism. and evangelism means sharing the word of God with other so i think it means SHARING THE WORD OF GOD WITH OTHERS

what is Gospel...
hmmm Gospel for us Christians means the fact that Somebody came from heaven, He left His glory there to come and save us, He died on the cross, He suffered on the cross, His blood was shared to save each one of us! He did all this to give everyone the possibility to find this precious Light, He did that to show His love for humanity. He did that to give ua Life.
the name of that person is Jesus.
this is what i thing Gospel is for us Christians

Emmanuel,evangelism is not what saved me and you.I know about the greek translation,an evangelist carries the evangelion,many people do not know what the gospel is.I am not asking of the greek meaning of the word,i am asking of what paul was thinking when he used the word THE GOSPEL,it is the same thing Jesus was thinking too,so what is this gospel,if we do not know what this gospel is,our christianity is limited without question my brother.Pls remember i am not asking of the greek meaning,i am asking what is this good news.

messenger micah, the word gospel is a calque of the greek word euangelion (eu- \\\"good\\\", -angelion \\\"message\\\"). The Greek word \\\"euangelion\\\" is also the source of the term \\\"evangelist\\\" in English. The authors of the four canonical Christian gospels are known as the four evangelists (wikipedia).

Emmanuel,the bible never defined the gospel as evangelism,you are the one putting that,when we answer the question of the Gospel ,then we can answer the question of salvation.Have you read my new post on the gospel?

messenger micah, I think the appropriate question should be what is SALVATION since I think gospel could be simple define as evangelism from a biblical definiton.

If you want what salvation is, I am willing to share my thought about it with you.

Emmanuel,yes here paul means the gospel of Christ or the gospel of the kingdom,there is THE in that staement which means that this gospel is a definite gospel,you can mince words about it,it is a definite gospel which alone is the power of God unto salvation.my question is ,WHAT IS THIS GOSPEL?

Gospel in the original form of English means good news, gospel alone does not mean anything that is why there is always a gospel of something. we as Christian must preach the good news of the Kingdom(Matthew 24:14) and that is why whenever we are evangelizing to someone we must understand that we are giving that person a good news
