    Prayer for those struggling with any parts of their lives

    Please brothers and sisters, lets take a minute break from our social struggles and immerse ourselves in praying for people who are struggling with greater burdens than ours (I know we are all battling against something or the other) but lets take a break from ourselves and pray for others.

    1.Pray for sinners (for the perishing souls they need Jesus).
    2. Pray that the will come to the saving knowledge of Christ.
    3. Pray that once saved they will be channels through which others will be saved.
    4. Pray that in our day to day lives the live of God -Zoe will be reflected in us and through us people will come to the saving knowledge of Christ.
    5. Pray for our leaders that they will hear directly from God and will not lead us astray.
    6. Pray for your unsaved family members that through you, they will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

    messenger micah, the word gospel is a calque of the greek word euangelion (eu- \\\"good\\\", -angelion \\\"message\\\"). The Greek word \\\"euangelion\\\" is also the source of the term \\\"evangelist\\\" in English. The authors of the four canonical Christian gospels are known as the four evangelists (wikipedia).

    Hi Ma and everyone,
    I felt like your pastor (my Pastor too) was talking to me as well. The feeling of guilt and sometimes inadequate and non-accomplishment almost ruined my life. I had to deal with these by totally surrendering to Christ. Thank God for His Holy Spirit!!!!! The truth is any time we allow the issues of life to control our being we make Christ's work on the cross non-effective. We feel better though when we confess and surrender all to HIM. Another thing I felt great about was confessing to my brethen, then I had a real breakthrough. WE turn to forget he even says "Come unto me all ye that laboreth and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me...for my YOKE is easy and my BURDEN is light(Matt 11:28-30).
    He heals indeed. So let us trust Him at all times!!!!

    Emmanuel,the bible never defined the gospel as evangelism,you are the one putting that,when we answer the question of the Gospel ,then we can answer the question of salvation.Have you read my new post on the gospel?

    messenger micah, I think the appropriate question should be what is SALVATION since I think gospel could be simple define as evangelism from a biblical definiton.

    If you want what salvation is, I am willing to share my thought about it with you.

    My friend,it is good to see this kind of forum.I know you apologised for using those terminologies but there is no need for those terminologies is defining a Christian.The bible terms that defines a christian is plain.And you better search the bible to discover what a christian is than settle for what your pastor said a christian is because on that day,the Lord will not judge you for what your pastor said but what you believed

    Emmanuel,yes here paul means the gospel of Christ or the gospel of the kingdom,there is THE in that staement which means that this gospel is a definite gospel,you can mince words about it,it is a definite gospel which alone is the power of God unto salvation.my question is ,WHAT IS THIS GOSPEL?

    Gospel in the original form of English means good news, gospel alone does not mean anything that is why there is always a gospel of something. we as Christian must preach the good news of the Kingdom(Matthew 24:14) and that is why whenever we are evangelizing to someone we must understand that we are giving that person a good news
